The Secret Tea Room hosts a variety of events and special occasion parties. We are the Triad's place for Bridal and Baby Teas and Showers. We personalize your Bridal Luncheon or Shower with your colors, and decorate to make your occasion the best it can be. A gift table is provided and our hostesses serve your guests with special care and attention. All you have to do for an event at The Tea Room, is show up. We do the rest! Queen's Tea The Queen's Tea is served on a three-tier platter. Assorted finger sandwiches are served on the bottom tier, with English Scones on the second. The Scones are served with Devon-Style clotted Cream and Jam. The top tier has desserts of Lemon Curd, Toffee Short Bread and Coconut Macaroons. All the entr�es at the Secret Tea Room are homemade. Our signature chicken salad is cooked with imported Rosemary and made daily in our kitchen. The English Scone is homemade and has been described by our patrons as �truly English�. The Devon Style Clotted cream is carefully fluffed to just the right consistency. Homemade Lemon Curd, toffee shortbread, and coconut macaroons are handmade and top off a fine Queen�s Tea. Sandwich Selections Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Egg Salad, Cucumber Sandwiches Queens� Tea - $15.00 per person Luncheons, Shower�s and Teas are the specialty of The Secret Tea Room. Decorations and Servers are furnished by the Tea Room. Reservations Required The Bridal Tea The Bridal Tea is for 25 or More between Two Hour Intervals.. This is a floating event which can accommodate 50 or more people. Gift Table Provided. All D�cor is done by the Tea Room. This can also be a buffet style menu if desired. Hand selected menus available. The Bridal Luncheon The Event for the Bride to Honor her Bridesmaids. Many times this event is held the day of the wedding, however more and more are choosing to do the day before for time constraints. This event is also used for a friend or family member to honor the bride with just a luncheon with friends and family. This is also a two hour event, with extra charges of $25.00 per hour for longer periods. Suggested menu is The Queens Tea, however we can select a lunch menu for this event as well. The Lunch menu usually consist of three choices for your guests: The Tea Room Salad, The Chicken Salad Sandwich with a side of pasta and light fruit, and a Deep Dish Quiche. The dessert and drink is included. This meal is $13.00 per person, with other fees applicable. The Baby Shower The Baby Shower at the Tea room is a wonderful event. We decorate with the colors of the baby (if we are telling?) A gift table is provided with a wicker baby carriage. We usually suggest the Queen�s Tea for this event, although ordering from the menu as described above is available. There is a 2 hour limit for the room fee, with $25 per hour additional. Tax, Gratuity and other items apply. Cakes and Cupcakes are available from the Tea Room if you would like an extra �SWEET�. We also do �onesie� cookies and baby bottle scones. We can accommodate up to 45 people for these events. If you have more, we can make it a BABY TEA, with floating hours as well. Either option is a great way to celebrate the new arrival. Rehearsal Dinners and Receptions The Tea Room can host your Rehearsal Dinner or Reception on site for 50 people or less and offsite for any number, fine or casual dining. We personalize the menu for your taste and budget. Our facility can accommodate fine dining or casual dining. Room rental for Dinners is $200.00. The Tea Room will host your Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Engagement Celebration, Baptism, and other private parties. The room rental for parties is $100.00 for two hours. Each additional hour is $25.00. For business-related parties, there is no fee. We offer the following special occasion luncheons throughout the year.
We also offer Thanksgiving and Christmas meals during the month of November and December These special Lunches and Dinners are by reservation only. Call 271-2998 to secure your reservation. Catering The Secret Tea Room offers catering services. We offer our regular menu, in additional to specialized menus to meet your desire. We will do your Med ED Meetings, Wedding Receptions, Study Clubs, Private in home events, Graduations, and any catering need. |
